Deepavali crackers
8 November 2026
Think of it as two lists. The Naraka Chaturdashi dawn needs a garland and a packet of sound crackers, nothing more. The evening is where the volume goes: sparklers by the handful, a row of flower pots, a few boxes of chakkars and one or two repeater cakes to close the night. In most homes the sparklers are gone before anything else.
Sankranti crackers
Mid January, across Bhogi, Sankranti and Kanuma
Plan for several evenings and a crowd of children rather than one big show. Lots of novelties, chakkars and sparklers, a garland for the Bhogi fire, and a couple of larger pieces for the last night before everyone heads back. With so many cousins in one courtyard, the number of pieces counts for more than their size.
Dasara crackers
September or October, at the end of the nine nights of Navaratri
A modest order is enough for the nine nights: sparklers and flower pots for the children when they visit the dolls. Keep the bigger pieces for Vijayadashami, with a garland, a few ground chakkars and a couple of sky shots. Deepavali follows only a few weeks later, so many families order once for both.
Ugadi crackers
In March or April, on Chaitra Shuddha Padyami
Keep the list short. A garland, a few boxes of sparklers and two or three flower pots are plenty for Ugadi, and whatever is left of the minimum order waits safely for the next festival.
Christmas and New Year crackers
25 December and 31 December
Build the order around the stroke of twelve. A repeater cake or two for the moment the year turns, a handful of sky shots, and sparklers to pass round straight after. A garland at the gate is enough for Christmas morning.
Weddings crackers
Whenever the muhurtham falls
Long garlands do most of the work, one for the arrival and one for the send-off. Repeater cakes suit the reception, and sparklers go to the guests for the photographs. Share the wedding date with us and the parcel will reach you days ahead, never on the morning itself.
Bursting hours in Andhra Pradesh
Rules change every season and can differ by district.
8:00 to 10:00 PM on Deepavali. Andhra Pradesh permits certified green crackers only, and a silence zone of 100 metres applies around hospitals, schools and courts. Many Visakhapatnam gated communities and apartment associations also set their own rules for the common areas. Always confirm the current notification from the district police, GVMC and the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board before you light anything, and read the Visakhapatnam cracker timings for 2026.

Your parcel goes out by registered transport with a tracking reference. You collect it at your town's transport office, or take door delivery where the transporter offers it.
Questions people ask before ordering
How can your prices be this much lower than a shop?
We are a Sivakasi dealer, not a retail shop. We buy at the dealer rate straight from the factory and sell close to it, so there is no shop margin in between. That is why our price sits typically 85% below the MRP printed on the box and still leaves us a fair, small margin.
Is this genuine Standard Fireworks stock?
Yes. We stock Standard Fireworks and nothing else, and every box reaches you factory-sealed with the printed MRP and contents intact. We never open, repack or re-label anything.
Why can I not pay by card on the website?
Following the Supreme Court direction on the online sale of fireworks, we do not run a payment gateway. You place the order here, a person confirms stock and the final total on WhatsApp, and then you pay by UPI or bank transfer.
What is the minimum order?
₹5,000. Fireworks move by registered road transport, and a smaller parcel costs more to send than it is worth.
How does the parcel reach me?
By registered road transport, never by air or ordinary courier. Parcels for Andhra Pradesh go up from Sivakasi through Chittoor and Tirupati, then follow the coast road through Nellore and Vijayawada before turning north east for Visakhapatnam. Your parcel is booked to the transport office nearest you, and we send you the transport name and the LR number to collect it. Door delivery is available where the transporter offers it.
Where do you deliver?
Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and the rest of Andhra Pradesh: 22 neighbourhoods across Visakhapatnam and 14 more cities on the same transport run, and nothing beyond it. Keeping to one run is what lets us quote a delivery date and stand behind it.

Do you deliver to apartments and gated communities in Visakhapatnam?
Yes. Give the tower, block and gate in your address, and we pass them to the transporter. The tall apartment towers along Beach Road and the newer ones in Madhurawada often add a rule of their own: bursting only in one marked space, only at set hours, or never from balconies and terraces. Check with your welfare association before you order.
